A Green quiet walk or stroll on a Sunday morning before it gets too hot.
It's a bit sad to see so many structures boarded up and crumbling down. But well worth a visit, especially if you are interested in farm buildings from passed generations, or if you enjoy a quiet, peaceful stroll.
A lovely stroll from San Giuliano Milanese to the Abbey.
Very green and shady. Not crowded, so quiet and pleasant. I went under the station underpass to get there. No public conveniences nor bars along the way but plenty on returning to San Giuliano Milanese.
Peaceful place of worship
A well preserved abbey, with nice frescos inside the church where you can feel a spiritual quietness. It is located a few km away from the more famous Chiaravalle abbey, it's worth to drive a little more to visit both places on the same day-trip :-) The church is closed 12:30 - 2:30 pm.
A beautiful small Jewel to discover in Milan suburbs.
Amazing
A beautiful Abbey. A wonderful discovery a few km from Milan. A place surprisingly cared for and well preserved by the Benedictine nuns. Beautiful frescoes inspired by Giotto and well preserved in a place rich in spirituality. Worth seeing regardless of whether you are a believer or not!
Incredible collection of abandoned cascine nearby
